HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wish to 
3congratulate  White Eagle Elementary School on being recognized 
4as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The National Blue Ribbon Schools program 
7recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high 
8schools where students perform at very high levels or where 
9significant improvements are being made in students' levels of 
10academic achievement; a National Blue Ribbon Schools flag 
11waving overhead has become a trademark of excellence and a 
12symbol of quality recognized by everyone from parents to 
13policy-makers in thousands of communities; and
 
14    WHEREAS, White Eagle Elementary School is in Indian Prairie 
15School District 204 and was founded in 1995; its mascot is the 
16wolf; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The principal of White Eagle Elementary School is 
18Jon Vogel; and

  
 
  
19    WHEREAS, The celebration for White Eagle Elementary School 
20is November 20, 2012; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate White Eagle Elementary School on being named a 
4Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to White Eagle Elementary School as a symbol of our 
8respect and esteem.
