HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wish to 
3congratulate  Fry Elementary School on being recognized as a 
4Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, The National Blue Ribbon Schools program 
6recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high 
7schools, where students perform at very high levels or where 
8significant improvements are being made in students' levels of 
9academic achievement; a National Blue Ribbon Schools flag 
10waving overhead has become a trademark of excellence and a 
11symbol of quality, recognized by everyone from parents to 
12policy-makers in thousands of communities; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Fry Elementary School is in Indian Prairie School 
14District 204; it was founded in 2001, and its mascot is the 
15fox; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, The principal of Fry Elementary School is Dave 
17Younce; and

  
 
  
18    WHEREAS, Fry Elementary School celebrates its achievement 
19on November 20, 2012; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate Fry Elementary School on being named a Blue 
3Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Fry Elementary School as a symbol of our respect 
7and esteem.
