HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of  
3Representatives are pleased to recognize Carmen Molinaro of 
4Algonquin for his work as Director of Golf for the Village of 
5Buffalo Grove; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Carmen Molinaro has served at Buffalo Grove Golf 
7Course since 1973; in 1977, he assumed the title of head golf 
8professional at the course and became a member of the PGA of 
9America; in 1987, he was named director of golf for the Village 
10of Buffalo Grove, overseeing both the Buffalo Grove Golf Course 
11and the Arboretum Club; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, In 1995, Carmen Molinaro was elected into the 
13Illinois High School Coaches Golf Hall of Fame for his efforts 
14in promoting junior and high school golf programs; in 2005, he 
15was honored as the Illinois PGA Public Merchandiser of the 
16Year; in 2007, he was the 53rd recipient of the PGA Gold 
17Professional of the Year Award, the highest honor bestowed on a 
18PGA professional; and

  
 
19    WHEREAS, Carmen Molinaro serves as a model of hard work, 
20integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
21Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we recognize Carmen Molinaro for his work and wish him 
4continued success and happiness in the future; and be it

6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Carmen Molinaro as a symbol of our esteem and 
8respect.
