HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jamie Piccola of 
4HomeStar Bank and Financial Services of Manteno on recently 
5being named a Rising Star in the banking industry by the 
6Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA); and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jamie Piccola was nominated for the award by 
8Patrick Martin, President of HomeStar Bank and Financial 
9Services; the ICBA annually recognizes those who are among the 
10best and brightest in the community banking industry as rising 
11stars; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jamie Piccola began her carer at HomeStar Bank and 
13Financial Services in 1992 with multiple positions, including 
14receptionist and bookkeeper; she was soon promoted to the Loan 
15Department; she excelled in her various roles, demonstrating a 
16willingness to tackle any issue and the ability to analyze 
17difficult situations and develop and present solutions; her 
18skills and outstanding performance led to her promotion to Vice 
19President of Loan Operations; her ability to lead, delegate, 
20and collaborate with her team members and others have allowed 
21her to excel in her different roles at HomeStar; and
  
 
22    WHEREAS, Jamie Piccola was previously recognized for her

1outstanding performance by receiving HomeStar's F.W. Smith 
2Award, which is presented annually to an employee for 
3outstanding performance and commitment to excellence; 
4therefore, be it

  
 
  
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we congratulate Jamie Piccola on her being named a Rising Star 
8in the banking industry; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to Jamie Piccola as an expression of our respect and 
11esteem.
