HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Terry Morrissey on 
4the occasion of his status as the official "Mayor" of 
5Misericordia; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Terry Morrissey has served as the "Mayor" of 
7Misericordia for many years; his "mayoral duties" include 
8greeting guests at special events, preparing and giving 
9speeches at various events, serving as the emcee for 
10Misericordia's Family Fest show, and meeting all of the new 
11staff members during their first week of training class; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, "Mayor" Morrissey is widely regarded by the staff 
13and residents at Misericordia as an excellent ambassador to the 
14local community for his great dedication to supporting the 
15mission of Misericordia and his optimistic and selfless outlook 
16on life; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, "Mayor" Morrissey serves as a model of generosity, 
18integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
19Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
21NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate Terry Morrissey on the occasion of his status 
2as the official "Mayor" of Misericordia and wish him continued
