| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Elzbieta Lichosyt |
| 4 | | on the occasion of becoming a United States citizen on May 1, |
| 5 | | 2012; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt was born in Poland in 1956; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt married Eugeniusz Lichosyt in |
| 8 | | 1976; together, they have 3 children, Rafal Lichosyt, Krzysztof |
| 9 | | Lichosyt, and Aneta Koscielniak; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, In 1976, Elzbieta Lichosyt completed nursing |
| 11 | | college; she subsequently worked in a hospital as a registered |
| 12 | | nurse; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt came to the United States in |
| 14 | | 1991; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt and her husband worked |
| 16 | | tirelessly to support their family in Poland and the United |
| 17 | | States; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, While living in the United States, Elzbieta |
| 19 | | Lichosyt's husband worked long hours while she cleaned houses, |
|

| 1 | | cared for elderly people, and attended English classes 4 nights |
| 2 | | a week; and
|
| 3 | | WHEREAS, In 1995, Elzbieta Lichosyt attended Morton |
| 4 | | College, where she received a Nursing Assistant certificate; |
| 5 | | and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt has always been interested in |
| 7 | | natural healing; she attended an intensive natural healing |
| 8 | | workshop and completed all 3 levels of the workshop in one |
| 9 | | year; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, In 2000, Elzbieta Lichosyt continued to work hard |
| 11 | | and opened her own business; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt has always believed in serving |
| 13 | | those in need; from 2005 through 2007, Elzbieta worked as a CNA |
| 14 | | for the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago convent; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Since 2007, Elzbieta has been taking care of young |
| 16 | | children, including her 3 grandchildren, Olivier Lichosyt, |
| 17 | | Thomas Koscielniak, and Jacob Koscielniak; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Elzbieta Lichosyt has waited a long time and has |
| 19 | | worked hard to become an upstanding citizen of the United |
| 20 | | States; therefore, be it

| 1 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 2 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 3 | | we congratulate Elzbieta Lichosyt on the occasion of becoming a |
| 4 | | United States citizen and wish her success and happiness in her |
| 5 | | future endeavors; and be it further

| 6 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 7 | | presented to Elzbieta Lichosyt as a symbol of our esteem and |
| 8 | | respect.
