| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the citizens of the |
| 4 | | City of Mascoutah on the occasion of the city's 175th |
| 5 | | anniversary; and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, The City of Mascoutah was founded in May of 1837; |
| 7 | | through the hard work and great dedication of its residents, |
| 8 | | the city has grown throughout the last 175 years into a |
| 9 | | thriving metropolis; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The citizens of the City of Mascoutah serve as |
| 11 | | models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people |
| 12 | | of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 | | we congratulate the citizens of the City of Mascoutah on the |
| 16 | | occasion of the city's 175th anniversary and wish them |
| 17 | | continued success and happiness in the future; and be it |
