HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Stephanie DiPrima 
4on her retirement as Principal of Queen of All Saints School in 
5June of 2012; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, She has served 38 years in the Archdiocese of 
7Chicago, 34 as a school principal in 5 schools; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from 
9Dominican University and her Master of Arts degree from  Loyola 
10University; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor 
12at Dominican University for 11 years and as Principal at Queen 
13of All Saints since 2000; in 2008, Queen of All Saints was 
14designated a National Blue Ribbon school by the United States 
15Department of Education; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, She is the architect of the Faith Partner program 
17at Queen of All Saints and many other positive educational 
18programs for the students and alumni of the school; her service 
19also includes time working at St. Viator High School and as a 
20principal at St. Martha's, St. Monica's, Sacred Heart, and Our 
21Lady of Hope Schools; and

1    WHEREAS, She is be honored for  her nearly 4 decades of 
2service to the Archdiocese of Chicago, working to provide an 
3excellent education to children as a principal, administrator, 
4and teacher to hundreds of students over the years; therefore, 
5be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we congratulate Stephanie DiPrima on her retirement and wish 
9her all the best in her future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Stephanie DiPrima as a symbol of our respect and 
12esteem.
