HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to honor Oak Lawn Mayor David 
4Heilmann for his dedication, commitment, and partnership with 
5Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Hope Children's 
6Hospital; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Mayor Heilmann knows the important role that both 
8Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Hope Children's 
9Hospital play in the community; he was a part of the hospital's 
10planning process and was vital in helping the construction of 
11the new outpatient pavilion move forward; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, He helped initiate the annual Paint the Town Pink 
13event, which brings breast cancer awareness and education to 
14the community; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, He was proud to welcome and address the health 
16care leaders at the 2010 Sino-American Summit at Advocate 
17Christ Medical Center and also participated in organ donor 
18awareness events at the hospital; and

  
 
19    WHEREAS, Mayor Heilmann resides in Oak Lawn with his wife, 
20Erica, and their children, Natalie, Joey, Michael, and Brooke;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we honor Mayor Heilmann and thank him for his commitment to the 
4community; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Mayor David Heilmann as a symbol of our respect 
7and esteem.
