HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Salvador Torres on 
4the 30th anniversary of his business, Caminos de Michoacan; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born in Villa Morelos, Michoacan on October 
622, 1946 to his parents, Ruben Torres and Carmen Escobedo; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, He was married to Bertha Jimenez in 1975 and 
8together they raised 4 children, Erika, Azucena, Salvador, Jr., 
9and Edgar; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, They are the proud grandparents of Romario, Daisy, 
11Lily, Jullian, Jessica, Salvador III, and Alexandria; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Salvador became the owner of Caminos de Michoacan 
1330 years ago, after first working as an employee in the 
14establishment; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Caminos de Michoacan is located in Pilsen and is a 
16vital and great part of the community; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate Salvador Torres on the 30th anniversary of

1Caminos de Michoacan and wish him continued success in the 
2future; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
