| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Gary Mical on the |
| 4 | | occasion of his retirement as Superintendent of Wheeling |
| 5 | | Township Elementary District 21; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Gary Mical spent 38 years in education in the |
| 7 | | Chicago suburbs and 20 years as a superintendent, with 10 years |
| 8 | | as superintendent at Fremont Elementary District 79 before |
| 9 | | coming to District 21; he subsequently served as Superintendent |
| 10 | | of Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 until his |
| 11 | | retirement on June 30, 2012; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, During his tenure as Superintendent, Gary Mical |
| 13 | | led District 21 through a redistricting process, a successful |
| 14 | | tax increase campaign, and staff contract negotiations; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Gary Mical serves as a model of hard work, |
| 16 | | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 17 | | Illinois; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 | | we congratulate Gary Mical on the occasion of his retirement |
| 21 | | and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it |
