HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mevlut "Hilmi" 
4Cinar, Associate Director of the Niagara Foundation, on the 
5occasion of his appointment as a member of the Chicago NATO 
6Welcome Committee; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar was born and raised in Turkey; he 
8later moved to Washington D.C. to study at Strayer University, 
9where he earned his bachelor's degree in international 
10business; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar will receive his master's degree in 
12public policy and administration from Roosevelt University in 
13May of 2012; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar began working for the Niagara 
15Foundation as the organization's Associate Director, where he 
16oversees the day-to-day operations of the Foundation; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The Niagara Foundation's mission is to serve 
18societal peace, love, and friendship wisely and 
19compassionately in support of human dignity and the common good 
20by striving to bring forth the common values of humanity, 
21understanding, tolerance, respect, and compassion; and

1    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar and his loving wife, Ayse Arslan 
2Cinar, have one son, Burak; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar has led several delegations of 
4Illinois legislators and advocates on intercultural trips to 
5his home country of Turkey; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Mevlut Cinar has became a trusted and personal 
7friend to many legislators and advocates in the State of 
8Illinois; he is well known by all for his honesty, integrity, 
9and ability to bring together individuals from different parts 
10of the world; therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
12NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
13we congratulate Mevlut "Hilmi" Cinar on his appointment to the 
14Chicago NATO Welcome Committee and wish him continued success 
15and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17presented to Mevlut Cinar as a symbol of our respect and 
18esteem.
