2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Central 
4Cougars basketball team on winning the Class 2A State 
5Championship; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The team finished the season with a 34-1 record; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The varsity cheerleaders are

12    WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Stan Eagleson; the Assistant

15    WHEREAS, The Superintendent is Kevin Meyer; the Central 
16High School Principal is B. Kent Jones;
the Athletic Director

and Alison Thole; and

5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we congratulate the Central Cougars basketball team on their 
8impressive victory and wish them the best for the future; and

10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the Central Cougars basketball team as a symbol of
