HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to commend Randy and Susan Jess for 
4all the good they have done for others; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Randy and Susan Jess have been members of the 
6Easter Seals Board of Directors; both of them have served as 
7chairperson of the board for 2 terms; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The annual Easter Seals Miranda Jess softball 
9outing is in honor of Randy and Susan Jess' daughter, Miranda, 
10who loved softball; the event has raised thousands of dollars 
11for Easter Seals; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Easter Seals Central Illinois is hosting a Seal of 
13Excellence Tribute Dinner for Randy and Susan Jess, who will be 
14recognized for their considerable contributions to many 
15organizations and making Central Illinois a better place to 
16live, work, and play; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The sale of tickets from this event will provide 
18direct services to children and adults with disabilities 
19throughout the year who are served by Easter Seals Central 
20Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Randy and Susan Jess on the occasion of 
4receiving the Seal of Excellence from Easter Seals Central 
5Illinois and wish them continued success and happiness in the 
6future; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Randy and Susan Jess as a symbol of our respect 
9and esteem.
