| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jack Ryan, Chief |
| 4 | | Executive Officer with the Little Friends organization in |
| 5 | | Naperville, on his retirement, June 30, 2012; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Jack Ryan has been with Little Friends since 1973, |
| 7 | | becoming director before he was 30 years of age; Little Friends |
| 8 | | is a private, non-profit organization serving children and |
| 9 | | adults with autism and other developmental disabilities; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Today, Little Friends operates 11 programs |
| 11 | | including 3 alternative schools, family support and |
| 12 | | consultation services, vocational training programs, |
| 13 | | community-based residential services, and the Little Friends |
| 14 | | Center for Autism; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jack Ryan and his wife, Sandy, plan to travel; he |
| 16 | | plans to catch up on his reading and donating his time in some |
| 17 | | capacity to give back to the community; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 | | we congratulate Jack Ryan on his retirement from the Little |
| 21 | | Friends organization, thank him for his service to the citizens |
