| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the St. Celestine |
| 4 | | 8th grade girls basketball team in Elmwood Park on having a |
| 5 | | perfect record of over 150 consecutive wins; the girls have |
| 6 | | played together since the 5th grade and continued their streak |
| 7 | | by winning the IESA Class 1A State championship on December 15, |
| 8 | | 2011; and

| 9 | | WHEREAS, The State championship was played at the Auburn |
| 10 | | Junior High School with the Lady Celtics from St. Celestine |
| 11 | | beating the team from Monroe Elementary School in Bartonville; |
| 12 | | and

| 13 | | WHEREAS, The principal of St. Celestine Catholic School is |
| 14 | | Jeanine Rocchi; the athletic director is Patrick Devitt; and |
| 15 | | the head coach of the Lady Celtics is John McKenna; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Lady Celtics are: Judi Aldape, Kaitlin |
| 17 | | Aylward, Jennifer Carvajal, Desiree Diaz, Shannon Faherty, |
| 18 | | Emily McCarthy, Sarah McKee, Anne McKenna, Victoria Nega, and |
| 19 | | Elizabeth Ptack; therefore, be it
