| 2 | | WHEREAS, Resurrection House began with 13 members meeting |
| 3 | | at Resurrection House Inc., a not-for-profit residential |
| 4 | | living facility for women reintegrating themselves back in |
| 5 | | mainstream society; these 13 members began a Tuesday night |
| 6 | | bible study and the vision began to grow and expand; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Marcus A. Randle began to look for a |
| 8 | | permanent place of worship and soon found 244 West 138th |
| 9 | | Street; on July 5, 2009, Resurrection House held its first |
| 10 | | Sunday morning worship service; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, They were successful in launching a youth |
| 12 | | ministry, "Generation Next"; a weekly bible study for the youth |
| 13 | | was also started; the women's affairs ministry, entitled "Women |
| 14 | | on Fire for Christ" has grown by leaps and bounds reaching |
| 15 | | women from all walks of life; and

| 16 | | WHEREAS, "Men Resurrecting Men", a men's ministry was |
| 17 | | started by the church; discipleship training classes, |
| 18 | | intercessory prayer ministry, a recovery ministry, compassion |
| 19 | | ministry, and a young adult ministry, called "Atmosphere |
| 20 | | Changers For Christ" were also started; and

| 21 | | WHEREAS, Resurrection House Baptist Church has grown to a |
