| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, During the 97th General Assembly, House |
| 3 | | Resolution 230 created a Task Force consisting of 24 members, |
| 4 | | to formulate practical, timely, and strategic guidance on how |
| 5 | | to improve equipment, funding, training, manpower, cost |
| 6 | | savings, and communications with regard to emergency medical |
| 7 | | services within the State; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, The Task Force shall meet with various emergency |
| 9 | | medical service stakeholders and make recommendations |
| 10 | | concerning ways in which emergency medical service functions in |
| 11 | | this State can be assisted and improved; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, The Task Force was required to report its findings |
| 13 | | and recommendations to the General Assembly by January 1, 2012; |
| 14 | | and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, The Task Force needs additional time to complete |
| 16 | | its work; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 | | the Task Force created by House

| 20 | | General Assembly shall report its findings and recommendations |
| 21 | | to the General Assembly on or before April 19, 2012; and be it |
