HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Justin Wiewiora on 
4the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 

  
5    WHEREAS, Justin serves with Troop 497 in Schaumburg and is 
6currently a senior at Hoffman Estates High School; his parents 
7are Steven and Elena Wiewiora of Hoffman Estates; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Justin was one of only 2 boys to earn every Webelo 
9pin that can be earned during his time in the Webelos; in his 
10years as a Boy Scout, he earned 39 merit badges, including the 
1112 required for Eagle Scout; he helped with PADS and donates 
12blood to help others; he also earned the World Conservation 
13Award and the Interpreter Strip, qualifying him as an 
14English/Spanish interpreter for his troop; he is registered 
15with Troop 497 as an Assistant Scout Master, using his skills 
16to work with youth; and
 
17    WHEREAS, His goal is to attend college  to study mechanical 
18or industrial engineering; as Justin says: "If you add all 
19these things you learn as a scout, you end up with the tools to 
20be successful in life"; and
 
21    WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Justin

1Wiewiora worked on the Grace Lutheran Church in Streamwood, 
2building a corral with his father over the course of 5 days; 
3and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon 
5Justin Wiewiora by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of 
6Honor ceremony on January 22, 2012 at the Prince of Peace 
7Lutheran Church in Schaumburg; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Justin Wiewiora serves as a model of hard work, 
9integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
10Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
12NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
13we congratulate Justin Wiewiora on the occasion of attaining 
14the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success 
15and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17presented to Justin Wiewiora as a symbol of our esteem and 
18respect.
