HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate David Meador of 
4Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Salem, on the occasion of 
5being inducted into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, David Meador graduated from Salem Community High 
7School with the class of 1966; after attending the Illinois 
8Visually Handicapped Institute and Chicago Lighthouse for the 
9Blind, he graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1971; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, David Meador has been very successful in the 
12insurance field; he also serves as a motivational speaker at 
13engagements throughout the nation and is the author of "Broken 
14Eyes, Unbroken Spirit"; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, David Meador will be inducted into the Tennessee 
16Golf Hall of Fame during an event in his honor at the Golf 
17House Tennessee in Franklin, Tennessee on September 21, 2011; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we congratulate David Meador on the occasion of being inducted

1into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame and wish him continued 
2success and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
