| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Daniel Smallwood |
| 4 | | on the occasion of his retirement after 33 years of dedicated |
| 5 | | service with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners |
| 6 | | of America Local 742; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Daniel Smallwood has served Local 742 in numerous |
| 8 | | capacities; he has been a member of the United Brotherhood of |
| 9 | | Carpenters since 1978; he has served as a Regional Council |
| 10 | | Delegate and as Local #742's Business Representative, |
| 11 | | Financial Secretary, and Treasurer; he has served as president |
| 12 | | of the Mid-Central Illinois Regional Council and the Illinois |
| 13 | | State Council; he has also served as a delegate to the 38th, |
| 14 | | 39th, and 40th General Conventions; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Daniel Smallwood has held several trustee |
| 16 | | positions with the Local's Pension Fund and Health and Welfare |
| 17 | | Fund, as well as the YMCA and the Sanitary District of Decatur; |
| 18 | | and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Daniel Smallwood will celebrate this milestone |
| 20 | | event with a celebration in his honor on September 16, 2011 at |
| 21 | | the South Side Country Club in Decatur; therefore, be it
