HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of  
3Representatives are pleased to honor Ron and Mary Ann Krohse 
4for their many years of service at St. John's Lutheran School 
5in New Berlin; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse have served as teachers at 
7St. John's Lutheran School since 1968; Mary Ann teaches grades 
81 through 4 in the school's downstairs classroom, while Ron 
9teaches grades 5 through 8 in the school's upstairs classroom; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse both attended Concordia 
12Teachers College near Chicago, where they were given an 
13assignment to teach at St. John's; the couple married 10 days 
14before they arrived in New Berlin; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse have both gained sterling 
16reputations for their effective teaching styles and the close 
17bonds they create with their students; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse serve as models of hard 
19work, integrity, and dedication for the many students who have 
20attended St. John's Lutheran School and the people of the State 
21of Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we honor Ron and Mary Ann Krohse for their many years of 
4service at St. John's Lutheran School in New Berlin and wish 
5them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it

7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Ron and Mary Ann Krohse as a symbol of our esteem 
9and respect.
