HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jackie Hinaber on 
4her retirement as a Trustee from the Mount Prospect Public 
5Library Board; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, She was elected to the Library Board 24 years ago, 
7after a friend suggested she run for the position; she went on 
8to win re-election 3 times; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, She served as Board President from 1992 to 2000; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She served as the head of the search committee to 
12recruit a new Executive Director; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, She worked with the Library Board to host an 
14elected officials after-hours meeting at the library, bringing 
15together elected officials from Mount Prospect, the General 
16Assembly, park districts, and school districts; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Her work with the Mount Prospect Library Board 
18later gave her an opportunity to serve on the Board of the 
19North Suburban Library System; she served for 6 years on the 
20Board, and as the North Suburban Library System Board President

1from 2005 to 2006; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate Jackie Hinaber on her retirement from the Mount 
5Prospect Library Board and wish her the best in her future 
6endeavors; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Jackie Hinaber as a symbol of our respect and 
9esteem.
