HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Warren Township High School Devilettes pom squad on the 
5occasion of becoming the 2010-2011 Illinois Class 3A Hip Hop 
6State Champions; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Warren Township Devilettes competed in five 
8regional dance competitions; the team earned four first place 
9finishes and one second place finish in the Hip Hop Dance 
10Division; the team was subsequently seeded second in the Team 
11Dance Illinois State Championship in Peoria out of 16 total 
12qualifying teams; utilizing great skill and teamwork, the team 
13won the 2010-2011 Illinois State Championship in the Class 3A 
14Hip Hop category; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The members of the Warren Township High School 
16Devilettes are Alex Landry, Katerina Wilkins, Marissa Mc Cann, 
17Stephanie Nachbin, Abby Gryzik, Ivette Hernandez, Paige Roane, 
18Macy Stephani, Penny Weiler, Shelby James, Sean MacLennan, 
19Kellie Morgan, Erica Reuss, Dana Sokolowski, Alexis 
20Villarreal, and Katherine Wehde; the team's head coach is Sarah 
21Stepek and the assistant coach is Lucia Espinosa; and

  
 
22    WHEREAS, The members of the Warren Township High School

1Devilettes serve as models of hard work, talent, and dedication 
2for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate the members of the Warren Township High School 
6Devilettes pom squad on the occasion of becoming the 2010-2011 
7Illinois Class 3A Hip Hop State Champions; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the Warren Township High School Devilettes as a 
10symbol of our esteem and respect.
