HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Warren Township High School Blue Devils boys basketball team on the occasion of their wonderful season; and

WHEREAS, After impressive wins in the North Suburban Conference and the IHSA Regional, Sectional, and Super-Sectional, the Blue Devils finished second in the IHSA Class 4A State tournament; the team finished their season with an impressive 31-4 record, earning the most wins in the history of the team in a single season; and

WHEREAS, Since January of 2010, the Blue Devils have a record of 42-6 and have a 21-game conference winning streak; Coach Chuck Ramsey currently has the second most wins among active coaches in Lake County with 377; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Warren Township High School Blue Devils are Jordan Duncan, Jameris Smith, Greg Robinson, Darius Paul, Tanner Erbach, Mich Munda, Brandon Ferguson, Jon Geske, JoVaughn Gaines, Conner Bowcott, Kendell Harris, Roman Schultz, Jeremiah Jackson, Nathan Boothe, and Darrick Ellis; the team's head coach is Chuck Ramsey and the assistant coaches are Bryan McNulty, Bill Werly, Rick Pearce, Jon Jasnoch, Ryan Bruno, Mike Wittes, and Greg Piggott; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Warren Township High School Blue Devils serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Warren Township High School Blue Devils boys basketball team on the occasion of their wonderful season and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Warren Township High School Blue Devils as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
