HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Winchester West Central Coop Lady Cougars girls basketball team 
5for their victory at the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Lady Cougars beat Hanover 29-26 to secure 
7victory at the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament; the team ended 
8their season with an impressive 30-3 record; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The members of the Winchester West Central Coop 
10Lady Cougars are Karlee VanDeVelde, Cassidy Kaufmann, Kelsey 
11Bettis, Ashlyn Jacquot, Dakota Nicholson, Alex Schaad, Rachel 
12Kilver, KayDee Carmody, Tiffany King, Taylor Shanks, Haley 
13Hart, and Andrea Lietz; the team's head coach is Brian L. 
14Bettis and the assistant coach is Jason Likes; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The members of the Winchester West Central Coop 
16Lady Cougars serve as models of hard work, integrity, and 
17dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, 
18be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we congratulate the members of the Winchester West Central Coop
