HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jeff Bruno on being 
4named the State Commander of the International Association of 
5Fire Fighters (IAFF) Honor Guard; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, He has been a member of the IAFF Honor Guard for 
7over 15 years and previously served as Deputy State Commander; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, He has worked his way through the ranks of the 
10Honor Guard, from a member, Drill Captain, 1st Shirt, and as 
11Deputy State Commander; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, He began his firefighting career with the City of 
13Kankakee Fire Department in December of 1990; he was promoted 
14to Lieutenant in August of 2009; he joined the Honor Guard in 
15January of 1996; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jeff and his wife, Trina, have 2 children, Justin 
17and Kaylee; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Jeff will be installed at a ceremony to be held on 
19February 12, 2011 in Kankakee; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Jeff Bruno on receiving this honor and wish him 
4the best in his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Jeff Bruno as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
