HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sandy Benson on the 
4occasion of her 20 years of dedicated service at Edward 
5Hospital & Health Services; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Sandy Benson began her career at Edward Hospital & 
7Health Services as a part-time physician referral expert; she 
8steadily ascended through the ranks, eventually taking over 
9management responsibility for the physician referral 
10department and Edward's corporate sales team; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Sandy Benson has served as the lead community 
12relations expert at Edward for the past 10 years; she also 
13serves as a successful lobbyist on behalf of Edward and its 
14diverse interests; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Sandy Benson has been associated with countless 
16municipal, educational, and civic organizations throughout the 
17years; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Sandy Benson and her husband, John, along with 
19their son, Garth, and his wife, Sereen, have lived in the 
20western suburbs of Chicago for a generation; Sandy and John 
21currently enjoy doting on their granddaughter, Hadley; and

1    WHEREAS, Sandy Benson serves as a model of hard work, 
2integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
3Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate Sandy Benson on the occasion of her 20 years of 
7dedicated service at Edward Hospital & Health Services and wish 
8her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it

10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Sandy Benson as a symbol of our esteem and 
12respect.
