| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3335, AS AMENDED, in |
| 3 | | Section 5, in Sec. 15-1503, in subsection (b), by replacing the |
| 4 | | first sentence with the following:

| 5 | | "(b) With respect to residential real estate, a copy of the |
| 6 | | notice of foreclosure described in subsection (a) of Section |
| 7 | | 15-1503 shall be sent by first class mail, postage prepaid, to |
| 8 | | the alderman for the ward in which the property is located if |
| 9 | | the property is located in a municipality with a population of |
| 10 | | more than 2,000,000 and to the municipality within the boundary |
| 11 | | of which the mortgaged real estate is located, or to the county |
| 12 | | within the boundary of which the mortgaged real estate is |
| 13 | | located if the mortgaged real estate is located in an |
| 14 | | unincorporated territory.".
