AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3241 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3241 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:



 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Agriculture Law of the Civil 
5Administrative
Code of Illinois is amended  by adding Section 
6205-455 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 205/205-455  new)
8    Sec. 205-455. Department website. To maximize the economic 
9development of the State's agricultural industry, the 
10Department of Agriculture's Internet website, subject to 
11appropriation for that purpose, shall include pages that allow 
12individuals to request information from the Department and to 
13ascertain what available services offered by the Department may 
14be utilized for an individual's agricultural operation. 
15Department personnel, through the website, shall assist in 
16providing farming operations and agricultural businesses, both

1large and small, with customized government assistance in an 
2expedited fashion. The website shall allow farmers to provide 
3information on their operations and goals, and it shall allow 
4farmers to explain what they would like the Department to do to 
5assist them in their efforts.".
