AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2066 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2066 by replacing 
3page 2 lines 5 through 25 and page 3, lines 1 through 8 with the 
4following:

 
5    "(705 ILCS 305/1a-1 new)
6    Sec. 1a-1. List of claimants for unemployment insurance. 
7The Director of the Department of Employment Security shall 
8annually compile a list of persons age 18 or older, who, in the 
9prior 12 months, filed a claim for unemployment insurance and 
10shall furnish this list to either the Administrative Office of 
11the Illinois Courts, or the county board of each county, except 
12those counties which have jury commissions as provided in the 
13Jury Commission Act, for use in the preparation of jury lists, 
14as provided in Section 1 of this Act. The list shall be 
15arranged alphabetically, by county, and shall contain the name, 
16age, and address of each claimant for unemployment insurance.";

1On page 5, by replacing lines 1 through 13 with the following:

3to the jury administrator, jury commissioners, or the 
4Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, as provided in 
5Section 1a-1 of the Jury Act. The
jury administrator,
jury 
6commissioners, or the Administrative Office of the Illinois

7Courts shall receive an up-to-date list of Illinois driver's

8license, Illinois Identification Card, and Illinois Disabled 
9Person
Identification Card holders from the Secretary of State 
10as provided in
Section 1a of the Jury Act. In compiling the 
11jury list,
duplication of names shall be avoided to the extent 
12practicable.".
