AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 103




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 103 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and 
5Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 
6amended  by adding Section 2310-660 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 2310/2310-660 new)
8    Sec. 2310-660. Pharmaceutical manufacturers; transparency 
9reports. Upon receipt by the State from the Secretary of the 
10United States Department of Health and Human Services, the 
11Department of Public Health shall post on its website the 
12report required under  Section 6002 of the federal Patient 
13Protection and Affordable Care Act, H.R. 3590, Pub. L. 111-148, 
14containing a summary of information submitted by manufacturers 
15and group purchasing organizations to the Secretary pursuant to 
16the federal  law. The Department of Public Health shall post the

1report by September 30, 2013 and by June 30 of each calendar 
2year thereafter, or as soon as possible after the State 
3receives the report from the Secretary, whichever occurs first.
 

4    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
5becoming law.".
