<reference>70 ILCS 5/8.16 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Airport Authorities Act. Provides than an airport authority has the power to invest in, plan, market, and otherwise support intermodal transportation. Sets forth powers concerning construction, shuttle services, financial support, and marketing. Defines "intermodal transportation". Further provides that no airport authority may apply for federal funding for intercity bus or train projects without approval of the Governor.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Senate Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
