<SynopsisText>     Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Prohibits a Representative from serving more than 6 terms of office as a Representative. Prohibits a Senator from serving more than 3 terms of office as a Senator. Effective upon being declared adopted. Applies to the election of General Assembly members beginning in the first general election after the date the amendment is declared adopted.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
