<reference>725 ILCS 5/Art. 106F heading new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>725 ILCS 5/106F-5 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 if and only if Senate Bill 3539 of the 96th General Assembly becomes law. Provides that the following question of public policy shall be submitted to the electors of the State at the 2012 general election: "Should the General Assembly of the State of Illinois enact a law providing for capital punishment for first degree murder and establishing procedures for the imposition of capital punishment that are consistent with the United States Constitution as interpreted by the United States Supreme Court?". Contains an internal repealer.
