| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal |
| 4 | | James Bray Stack of Arlington Heights; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, LCpl. James Bray Stack served his country with |
| 6 | | bravery and distinction as a rifleman in India Company, 3rd |
| 7 | | Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the 1st Marine Division; he |
| 8 | | was serving in Sangin in Helmand province, Afghanistan at the |
| 9 | | time of his passing; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, LCpl. James Bray Stack is survived by his wife, |
| 11 | | Katelyn Landeweer Stack; his daughter, Mikayla; and his father, |
| 12 | | Robert Stack; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, LCpl. James Bray Stack's patriotism and courage |
| 14 | | will be remembered fondly by his loving family, his fellow |
| 15 | | soldiers, and the citizens of our grateful nation; therefore, |
| 16 | | be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | his family and friends, the passing of Lance Corporal James |
| 20 | | Bray Stack; and be it further
