SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Teresa R. Spoto of Arlington Heights, who 
4
passed away on April 14, 2010; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Teresa Spoto was born on October 29, 1925, in 
6
Rockford; her parents were Vincent and Josephine (nee Alaimo) 
7
Tarara; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Teresa Spoto was a loving mother and devoted 
9
grandmother; she enjoyed caring for her late husband, Domenick; 
10
she was a dear friend to many and enjoyed giving her time as a 
11
volunteer at the Arlington Heights Senior Center and to her 
12
parish family at St. James; and
  
 
13
    WHEREAS, Teresa Spoto was preceded in death by her husband, 
14
Domenick J. Spoto; her daughter, JoAnne Spoto; and her 
15
brother-in-law, Anthony Mangiaracina; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Teresa Spoto is survived by her children, Jeanine 
17
Spoto, Nancy (Bob) Thompson, and Louis (Kathleen) Spoto; her 
18
granddaughters, Sarah, Angela, Michelle, and Jessica; and her 
19
siblings, Sarah Tarara, Susie Mangiaracina, and Joanne Tarara; 
20

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
2
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
her family and friends, the passing of Teresa R. Spoto; and be 
4
it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Teresa Spoto as an expression of our 
7
sympathy.
