SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Mary Lou Gust of Beach Park, who passed 
4
away on March 10, 2010; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, She was born July 16, 1946 in Waukegan and 
6
remained a lifelong area resident; she was a member of Our Lady 
7
of Humility Parish in Beach Park; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, She had a passion for cooking and gardening and 
9
loved crafting and organizing floral classes; she enjoyed 
10
raising Labrador dogs and riding horses and was a poultry 
11
breeder; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, She was a member of the Village of Beach Park 
13
Parks and Recreation Committee and belonged to the North Shore 
14
Snow Seekers snowmobile club; she began as a part time teller, 
15
moved to supervisor, then manager at Baxter Credit Union; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, August 
17
and Mary K. (nee Kutzler) Hibel; and
  
 
18
    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gust is survived by her husband, Richard; 
19
her three daughters, Kathy and grandchildren, Michael and 
20
Stephanie, Karen (Tony) Belluomini, and Kelly (Todd) VanHorn

and grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Morgan, and Cameron; 
2
her brother, Augie (Suzie) Hibel; and her niece, Sally Hibel; 
3
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
5
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6
her family and friends, the passing of Mary Lou Gust; and be it 
7
further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to the family of Mary Lou Gust as a symbol of our 
10
sincere sympathy.
