SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Travis Semplowski of Gillespie, who 
4
passed away on July 28, 2009; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was born on August 21, 1987, in 
6
Litchfield; he was the son of Ronald D. and Tammie L. (Whitlow) 
7
Semplowski; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was employed as an automotive 
9
specialist for Walmart in Litchfield; he was also a former 
10
member of the Gillespie FFA; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was preceded in death by his 
12
maternal grandparents, Joseph Tom Whitlow Sr. and Eleanor 
13
(Kahl) Whitlow, and his great-grandparents; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski is survived by his parents; his 
15
sister, Ashleigh Semplowski; his brothers, Tyler Semplowski 
16
and Austin Semplowski; his paternal grandparents, Walter and 
17
JoAnn Semplowski; his girlfriend, Casey Canter; and his 
18
numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
19
    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
20
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

presented to the family of Travis Semplowski as an expression
