| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Richard A. Walls of Gurnee, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on August 4, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the |
| 6 |
| United States Navy; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband of Martha; the loving |
| 8 |
| father of David, Tracy (Becky), the late Scott, the late Mark, |
| 9 |
| Deborah (James) Mound, and Jennifer (Michael) Slaney; the dear |
| 10 |
| grandfather of Kelly, Brandon, Christopher, Michael, Mikayla, |
| 11 |
| Amber, Lauren, Tyler, Mark, Jessica, Brennah, and Canden; and |
| 12 |
| the proud great-grandfather of Benjamin, Madeline, Kaylyn, and |
| 13 |
| Aden; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 16 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Richard Walls; and be it |
| 17 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to the family of Richard Walls as a symbol of our |
| 20 |
| sincere sympathy.
