| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, During the 96th General Assembly, Senate |
| 3 |
| Resolution 303 created a Task Force on Illinois Community |
| 4 |
| College System Funding for the purpose of reviewing the present |
| 5 |
| community college system and making recommendations to the |
| 6 |
| Senate pertaining to whether the community college system is |
| 7 |
| adequately funded; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, The task force was to report its findings and |
| 9 |
| recommendations to the Senate by December 31, 2009; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The task force needs additional time to complete |
| 11 |
| its work; therefore, be it
|
| 12 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 13 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the Task Force on |
| 14 |
| Illinois Community College System Funding created by Senate |
| 15 |
| Resolution 303 of the 96th General Assembly shall submit its |
| 16 |
| report by December 31, 2010; and be it further
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Task |
| 18 |
| Force shall continue to operate pursuant to Senate Resolution |
| 19 |
| 303 of the 96th General Assembly, including appointments; and |
| 20 |
| be it further
|
