| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Scoutmaster Don |
| 4 |
| Schepler of Troop 167 in Huntley as he retires; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Because of his leadership over the last 18 years, |
| 6 |
| over 20 young men have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in |
| 7 |
| Troop 167 and over 100 young men have experienced scouting and |
| 8 |
| its rewards; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He was responsible for overseeing annual pancake |
| 10 |
| breakfasts, canoe trips, sailboat trips, and camping |
| 11 |
| opportunities to Minnesota, New Mexico, Florida, Wisconsin, |
| 12 |
| across the State of Illinois, and to the Continental Divide; |
| 13 |
| and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Schepler kept a log for each scout, recording |
| 15 |
| the hours camped, community service hours worked, miles hiked, |
| 16 |
| and meetings attended; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Scoutmaster Don Schepler is to be commended for |
| 18 |
| his years of dedication to scouting and to changing the lives |
| 19 |
| of the young men under his leadership; therefore, be it
|
