HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Peter 
4
"Pete" Dawidziak of the Dundee and Elgin area, who passed away 
5
on May 10, 2010; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, He was born March 12, 1944, in Poland, the son of 
7
Nicholas and Frances Dawidziak; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Mr. Dawidziak was a veteran and served in the 
9
Army; he had worked at ITW for 30 plus  years prior to his 
10
retirement; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, He was the Post Commander of the VFW Post# 2298 in 
12
West Dundee, and former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 
13
Lodge #799; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and his 
15
wife, Tessie, in 2004; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Peter "Pete" Dawidziak is survived by his 
17
daughters; Jessie (Jon) Gospodarek, Michelle (Clarence) 
18
Herrmann, Lori (Steve) Szurgot, Angela (Scott) Speed, and 
19
Crystal (Arturo) Rosario; his grandchildren, Justin (Dixie), 
20
Jacklyn, Joshua, Darlene, Tessa, Ryne, Jakob, Nicholas,

Nicole, Karinia, Lexzandro, Halina, Andreas, and Phabion; his

sister, Anna; his brother, John (Mary); his mother-in-law,

Angela Prokop; and his close friend, Fran Ganschow; therefore,

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
7
mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Peter 
8
"Pete" Dawidziak; and be it further
  
 
9
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10
presented to the family of Peter "Pete" Dawidziak as a symbol 
11
of our sincere sympathy.
