HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, Greg Moats has served as a teacher, coach, and 
3
administrator for over 34 years in southwestern Illinois; and
  
 
4
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats has positively impacted the lives of 
5
thousands of students during his career; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats has been an ambassador of his community 
7
and his profession for over 34 years; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats is affiliated with numerous 
9
professional organizations, including the Illinois Association 
10
of School Administrators, the IASA Advisory Board, the District 
11
201 Foundation Board, the Southwestern Association of School 
12
Administrators' Executive Board, the Association for 
13
Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Educational League 
14
of Illinois, the Belleville Area Superintendents Association, 
15
the Illinois Principals Association, and the Illinois High 
16
School Districts Organization; and
  
 
17
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats has fostered numerous positive 
18
relationships within the Belleville School District 201 
19
community; and
  
 
20
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats is an energetic, thoughtful,

people-oriented, and dedicated family man; and
 
2
    WHEREAS, Greg Moats feels that it is his responsibility to 
3
ensure that there is a teacher in every classroom who cares and 
4
that every student learns, grows, and feels as a human being 
5
every day; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
8
we congratulate Greg Moats on the occasion of his retirement 
9
and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it 
10
further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12
presented to Greg Moats as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
