<reference>40 ILCS 5/7-139</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 7-139</aliasreference><reference>30 ILCS 805/8.33 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the IMRF Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that, until January 31, 2011, an active participating employee who was enrolled in a reciprocal pension system prior to participation in IMRF may establish up to 24 additional months of retroactive service upon filing a written application for the excess retroactive service, approved by the employer's authorized agent, and payment by the employee of the actuarial present value of the additional service, based on those factors that the Board determines to be relevant. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
