<reference>105 ILCS 5/28-50 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. Requires the State Board of Education to establish a 2-year pilot program in which graduate students author textbooks for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Provides that the textbook must be written by a graduate student attending a public university in this State, submitted to a professor at that university for editing and approval, and submitted to the State Board for final approval. If approved, requires the State Board to have the textbook published and made available to school districts.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
