Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall establish the Long-Term Care Disproportionate Share Adjustment Program to aid long-term care facilities licensed by the Department of Public Health, under the Nursing Home Care Act, as skilled care or intermediate care facilities that serve a preponderance of Medicaid residents. Further provides that long-term care facilities determined by the Department to qualify for the program shall receive an add-on adjustment to their nursing component rate, which shall be established by rule no later than December 31, 2010 and adjusted annually thereafter.
