<SynopsisText>Provides that subject to federal approval, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services may adopt rules to allow a dentist who is volunteering his or her service at no cost to render dental services through an enrolled not-for-profit health clinic without the dentist personally enrolling as a participating provider in the medical assistance program. Further provides that a not-for-profit health clinic shall include a public health clinic or Federally Qualified Health Center or other enrolled provider, as determined by the Department, and that the Department shall establish a process for payment of claims for reimbursement for covered dental services. Eliminates language providing that the Department shall adopt rules for payment of claims for reimbursement for covered dental services that allow a qualified provider of such services who is volunteering his or her time at no cost to a not-for-profit health clinic, to designate such health clinic as alternate payee.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
