<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>10 ILCS 5/9-45 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Election Code. Authorizes counties with populations of 500,000 or greater but not greater than 1,000,000 to adopt ordinances imposing and enforcing campaign finance disclosure and reporting requirements and campaign contribution limits with respect to candidates for county office. Requires the ordinances to be consistent with and no less restrictive than the provisions of the Code. Requires that a county that adopts an ordinance file it with the State Board of Elections. Permits the State Board to develop and make available guidelines and models for ordinances. Requires election authorities in a county subject to an ordinance to cooperate in the implementation and enforcement of the ordinance.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
