Provides that the corporate authorities of 2 or more municipalities may, by intergovernmental agreement, contract for the operation of a privately owned local passenger transportation system within and between the corporate boundaries of the municipalities upon terms agreeable to the municipalities and the owner of the local passenger transportation system.
